Wild and Free
Woodland Meditation Retreat
What could life look like, if you felt Wild and Free?
Imagine meditating in a woodland glade under the moon, gazing into the flickering flames of a campfire and letting go of what no longer serves you as you step into more freedom and wildness.
Imagine a crackling firepit nestled amongst the leafy trees…a small, intimate group of likeminded women getting back to basics….three days and two nights living, sleeping and waking up as a village in nature…
Imagine gentle yet powerful movement, meditation and mindfulness practices…dynamic meditation in the woods with silent disco headsets…guided enquiry…delicious campfire-cooked food….songs and stories around the campfire…and an invitation to be Wild and Free!
Wild and Free: A three day woodland meditation retreat with Jen Le Marinel and Annie Stoker.
31st October - 2nd November 2025 (Join us for Samhain!)
26-28th June 2026
Are you ready to be wild and free?
Join me, “Queen of Wildness”, and “Queen of Freedom” Annie Stoker for a deliciously wild and freeing meditation retreat out in nature. Three days of switching off, slowing down, tuning in…and exploring who we are away from the routines, labels, masks and “shoulds” of the outside world.
We have had SO much fun at both our summer and Samhain (autumn) retreats and are now eagerly looking forward to our sixth and seventh Wild and Free retreats!
Whether you join us for in June, at the approach to the Summer Solstice, with light nights, luscious greens, sensual woodland aromas and wonderful birdsong, or for our Samhain retreat in October, with fiery autumn colours and dark nights spent cosied up around the fire, you can expect to find more wildness and freedom, deep connections with likeminded women, fun fireside sessions, mindfulness, movement, wild practices and of course wild dynamic meditations not just in the day but also under a (hopefully!) moonlit sky.

Yes. Nobody goes hungry on my retreats! The retreat includes all breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks while you are there. The food will be wholesome, nutritious and delicious, and we will come together to cook over the campfire. Most major dietary requirements will be catered for. If you have very specific requirements please let me know.

You absolutely don't have to be a seasoned outdoorsy person to enjoy and benefit from this retreat. In fact it is designed for those who wouldn't necessarily go camping or out on their own, but who feel drawn to nature and would like to experience what it's like to immerse yourself in nature in a safe way. This will be a safe compassionate space for you to explore what it is like to be truly out in nature, with the support of Jen, Annie and other like minded women. However, do expect to camp and get back to basics (with a few creature comforts!). This retreat will challenge you - indeed that is one of the reasons it is so transformational. You may well meet your "edge", so you must be prepared for that. If you are willing to explore courage and are willing to be a little bit uncomfortable in the name of connecting with yourself and nature even more profoundly, then yes, this retreat is for you.

Ideally, yes, although I do have a couple of small tents that you can hire for the weekend (£20), which will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. If you bring your own tent it MUST be a small 1-3 person tent (not a big family tent) as, being a woods, space is limited! You will need to bring your own bedding/mattresses etc. A full kit list and more information about what you need to bring with you will be provided when you book, but if you have any questions do feel free to email me to ask.

There is a clean portaloo and a rustic handwashing station, but no showers. Many women think they will find this one of the most challenging aspects of the retreat but it just becomes part of the adventure.
-
We'll dance in it! 😉 Rain is just another adventure.
Yes, it will change some of our activities slightly however we have several sheltered areas under which we can gather, including either a roundhouse or a yurt (depending on venue). If you've ever been under canvas in a rain shower you'll know how heavenly it can be....imagine sipping steaming mugs of tea or hot chocolate, feeling the fuzzy warmth of the fire on your face, listening to the pitter patter of raindrops on the canvas and in the trees.....

“It was incredible to be part of this unique event with Annie and Jen. I will never forget the atmosphere of Annie opening a dynamic meditation in a thunderstorm. It has been powerful and soul opening, I’m still unable to fully describe its impact days later but I have signed up for next year!”
